Review on ZenART Espresso Watercolor Beginners Aspiring by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great choice of colors and quality!

Okay so I don't use a lot of watercolor and to be honest I don't like anything that isn't digital. I used to try Five Below and Michaels $5 watercolors, the colors were clumpy and cloudy which I hated. Also, a cheap plastic case didn't add to the quality of the product. On the other hand, this watercolor made an immediate impression when I received it. Packaging: ZenArt really knows how to make their products. It's beautiful and simple, but practical. I really like the Japanese accents in the colors/design. In practice it's amazing because I can get two brushes (one of which is a water barrel brush), places to mix colors, a sponge, a plastic separator to avoid too much smudging, sample paper and of course my 24 colors! The whole thing closes very securely with a small latch on the box so you can have peace of mind. The box also includes a very cute thank you note and a booklet showing the brand's other colors. (I was very interested in the Preziozo palette with its shimmering colors) Quality: As I said, I used to try cheap watercolors and hated how messy and clumpy they would be on paper. Here I used mixed paper and the color really lived up to my expectations. They look just like the sample paper that came with them! Colors are easier to mix together because they don't get dark and gross. The brushes are also of excellent quality. They have soft hair that seems to last a long time. Conclusion: This is a wonderful palette of great quality and well worth the price! I am never disappointed with ZenArt whether it is the overall design of the product or the product itself. I used to be very reluctant to paint with watercolor because the others I've tried were pretty awful, but this one is very good and motivates me to try more watercolor, especially because it's so easy to travel with ! An amazing range of colors that allows me to mix and create many other colors perfect for travel. Ultimately, I would recommend this product to both people who already use a lot of watercolor as it is certainly a great product, and to a beginner like me so as not to be disappointed by the mediocre quality. 100% would buy again and even considered getting a Preziozo Palette!
