Needs a weighted base for balance; this thing is buggy all the time. You can balance it well, but if you have a cluttered workspace or a lot of traffic nearby, it's impossible to keep it upright. Although amber light is said to block almost all blue light, this seems to be deceptive. Amber light blocks most of the blue light, but it's definitely a mix of amber and white light that doesn't hit the mark. It's a lot less "amber" than my amber light for books. However, I use it at low settings with the book's bright amber backlight. Multiple light sources reduce eye fatigue. But I definitely wouldn't buy it again if I'm looking for a special amber light or a light that stays in place. Also, load time is pathetic compared to usage time on high settings.
