They fit great in my 10g hospital tank. It's easy to take it out and rinse the dirt out of the tank with water (so you don't kill the bacteria) and put it back in the tank. I also use variations of this brand and style in my breeding tank and in tanks where I raise pregnant female guppies. I use them in every aquarium and also combine them with HoB filters for larger aquariums. They work great and provide space for the juvenile fish to graze for food as well.
