CRANBERRIES HAVE BENZOIC ACID WHICH IS TOXIC TO CATS

WHY would you put cranberries in this formula WHY ? For everyday feeding this is a Big NO NO. What kind of cat-hating veterinary consultants did you have when you crafted this product ? Cats have extremely sensitive systems and they process food differently than Humans or even dogs for that matter. Benzoic acid builds up in a cat's liver causing many health problems and in a weak or elderly cat, can even kill them.I learned this the hard way thanks to this crap cat food. I too was taken in by the "first four ingredients" being meat, never suspecting that cranberries were so bad for cats. Introducing it as a new food, I mixed this with half of their previous brand, but after a couple days when I switched to 100% Nulo, it became a vomit fest. That's when the light bulb went off and I googled "Cranberries bad for cats" and learned some disturbing facts, such as that BENZOIC ACID is TOXIC to cats and that cranberries are a high source of benzoic acid.! Once again I ask, What the hell is it doing in Cat food then ? My older teen cat vomited up everything for days even after i stopped the Nulo, making me worry I might lose him. I coddled him with home made chicken soup and pureed pumpkin and he's more or less back to his old active self, no thanks to Nulo. SHAME on the makers of this formula for what they put me through. Get rid of the cranberries.
