For many years I cleaned my tongue with a brush and various scrapers. It is absolutely the best and purest thing my tongue has ever seen and felt. The bristles are short so they feel firm but aren't too harsh. Love it! If you have plaque on your tongue that this product isn't helping, I would purchase a teeth whitening kit (about $20) here at Revain with a blue and red LED mouthpiece. The LEDs kill the bacteria in your mouth and you won't be out of breath in the morning for at least 3 months. SWEAR. No need to use whitening gel, just the LED mouthpiece for 2-3 sessions. This assumes you brush your teeth thoroughly and floss twice a day. Too bad I didn't see this tung system sooner, it's worth the money! If it matters, I've used an Idoluster mouthpiece, but there are other brands. This gel has a pleasant and mild taste and I think that the zinc it contains helps with breathing problems. I tried first by applying the gel to the brush and then using it, but it seemed like most of the gel just got stuck in the brush that way. Then I simply applied a drop of the paste directly to the flat side of this brush, placed it on my tongue and then flattened it and spread it over my roof of the mouth. So it spread better on my tongue. After using this brush and paste, you will find a different level of cleaning. This pasta is now on subscription saving for me
