Wow, I didn't know there was such a thing as Fred LE Crock COQ. I love this guy and he works great with herbs in cooking. I wish I had known about Fred sooner. I just bought 3 different tea balls from Revain to add herbs to when cooking. Then Fred shows up. It makes cooking easier for me. So helpful and sweet. Fred came just in time! I was roasting a large chicken the other day (sorry Fred) and wanted to make some chicken broth and freeze it. I filled Fred with homemade rosemary, sage, then fresh garlic, parsley and peppercorns. put his head back up. Fill the pot with water, then leave in the pot the whole chicken (skinless or fat removed), onions, celery, carrots, chopped parsley, 21 thins and some salt. It worked great with Fred's help. Then freeze in smaller packets for later. Rosemary is difficult to separate and cut from the tough stalk, but with Fred's help it's much easier. I like it better than tying up herbs and putting them in cheesecloth. Easier. One of my kids came in, took off the lid and said there's something floating in the pan 😳 what's the H 🤣. It's also a great gift when you go to friends for dinner. Enjoy.
