waste of money! Scam Claimed

products. We were going on vacation to Lake Havasu and it was going to get really hot there, so I wanted a nice padded cooler that wouldn't crash the boat but would hold the ice perfectly. This cooler didn't fare well on our trip, but hey, it's a Havasu and it's very hot, so maybe that's not a realistic test. My wife had a work party at our house last week and the sun was 80 degrees. I put this ice chest down and rolled my Tommy Bahama teak chest at home in the partial shade the day before. I loaded both coolers at the same time of day at 12:30pm and filled the needle with ice. In Tommy Bahama, I only added a bag and a half (about 30 pounds) of ice. The next morning at 10:00 am I went out to clean up and put away the coolers. The picture on the left (soda/water) is of an igloo and the other is of my TB Chest cooler when I opened the lids. Igloo states that this cooler is good for keeping ice at 90 degrees for 4 days. In less than 12 hours, half of which was at night, not a single grain of ice remained. I don't usually write reviews, but in this $180 case, I believe Igloo really misrepresented their product. Unfortunately it's too late for me to get my money back so I now have a very expensive $25 heavy ice chest. The epic failure of the IGLU! At least at Tommy Bahama, the beer stayed cold.

Pros
  • INSULATED ICE-HOLDING DESIGN: Ultratherm insulation in body and lid keeps contents colder longer (4-day ice retention)
Cons
  • Suitable for
