I started using this Eco Lips lip balm a few years ago when I quit smoking. I developed a habit of rubbing my lips a lot because I still craved the movement of my hand and mouth while smoking. A friend suggested using this because no other lip balm worked for me and it felt like my lips were on fire from rubbing them so hard. This stuff did it! When our nasty Midwest winters hit, I'll grab a few extra tubes as it's the only lip balm that helps my dry, cold, chapped lips. I get deep, painful, chapped lips in winter and this balm is very soothing and its moisturizing properties help a lot. I am an Eco Lips fan for life! I don't get herpes very often so I can't confirm how well it works for them, but the friend who recommended it won't use anything else if she has herpes.
