I really like the idea of having glowing stripes for night safety. I have others that have velcro and are harder to put on and take off. But they aren't rechargeable, making them a huge waste. Maybe good for emergencies, so I'm keeping it. Just not what I had in mind for evening walks and frequent use. Not the manufacturer's fault, I probably didn't read the description carefully. Decent product, just an unfortunate wasteful design.
