I bought these to use as paint stirrers and thought they would work as they were supposed to be 'glass'. I have used real glass beads as stirrers in the past and they have worked great. Unfortunately, this garbage is actually made of plastic, I can say that I'll help you out the second time around. As proof, I hit one with a hammer and it deformed, didn't break. If they were made of glass, they would break. I hit it a few more times with a hammer and turned it into a cracked pancake. If you are buying these because you want real "glass" beads you should look elsewhere, they are lying to you.
