This belt is high quality in terms of material and workmanship but I lack the functionality. Thin is exactly what I wanted for these pants with thinner loops, but unfortunately the waistband just flexes with this belt. There seems to be an issue with the waist of the garment at different body heights and with the belt at different tension/release levels. I ended up threading my wider strap through the loops so I didn't have to constantly flip the band and strap. I'm not sure if my personal experience will be yours.
