I bought this for my roommate and he says he loves it. Ideal for the Perfecto brush. The Merkur DE razor I chose for him works very well on the other side too. It stands tall, doesn't wobble and cuts a fine figure in the bathroom. He's standing next to the small Fiestaware bowl of soap I bought him. I think time will tell if it starts to rust or something else negative. If so, I'll definitely update my review. I placed it all on a paper towel to soak up excess water from the tools until they air dry since the stand is on a varnished (faux) wood shelf and I don't want water damaging it. .
