I bought this for my roommate and he says he loves it. Ideal for the Perfecto brush. The Merkur DE razor I chose for him works very well on the other side too. I bought these after buying an Escali badger brush. The stand I had was good, but the brush hole was too big for the Escali brush. My other four brushes fit the 1st stand but not the Escali. I like to hang them by the handle at the top, not near the knot. They will not fit on this stand as their handles are too thick. This razor stand is a great addition to any bathroom. Holds dual blade safety razors with no problem and will hold a single blade if you point the blade inwards (at least with the GEMs I have). Only criticism of this product is that the brush holder could have been a bit wider. Some brushes just don't fit.
