Solid base but the brush part could be a bit wider.
This razor stand is a great addition to any bathroom. Holds dual blade safety razors with no problem and will hold a single blade if you point the blade inwards (at least with the GEMs I have). Only criticism of this product is that the brush holder could have been a bit wider. Some brushes just don't fit. A prime example is the Semogue Owners Club - the knot fits, but when wet the knot presses quite hard against the sides of the holder which I think can damage the bristles. I just put it on top, but still - I'd rather the holder actually fit on top of the handle. The photos I have attached show the dimensions of the brush holder.
