This is a Rolls Royce style shaving stand! Probably weighs half a pound, no kidding. I can't imagine this stand ever tipping over unless there was some kind of natural disaster at the time. The brush I have fits the base perfectly, which is notable because it didn't fit the other base I had (it was too long). However, this stand is likely to be at least 6 inches tall, so it will be difficult to find anything that doesn't fit. I have a comment, but it's irrelevant. The angled blade razor I use wobbles a bit because the stand is designed to fit a straight blade razor. However, I cannot fault the stand there. Overall it exceeds my expectations, especially for the money!
