I usually like to run in shoes with minimal cushioning and no more than 6mm drop, but I bought these Novablast shoes after reading good reviews online and because I like running shoes with a rotation system Avoid putting strain on the same parts of your feet day in and day out. These shoes are extremely cushioned with a 10mm drop, fit my normal size and are comfortable from day one. As maximalists, they place much more stress on the knees relative to the hips than shoes with a lower foot height and low heel. I plan to only use them about once a week for a variety of rotations, so hopefully they'll work well in the future. If, unlike me, you're already training in maximalist shoes (like Pegasus or Mach 4, etc.), you'll likely have an even smoother transition to Novablast. Brand. I had another pair of ASICS running shoes which after 12+ years (admittedly light use) are still good for everyday or gym use. A size 12 weighs about 11.3 ounces so not light but ok given the cushioning. and price. No major complaints so far. Four more ratings because I'm not (yet) used to such heavy maximalist shoes. I can increase it to five if I like them even more after a hundred miles.
