This scale looks the best in its price range on Amazon and I think for the most part it's pretty solid and accurate. The tare function works - I disagree with other comments that it doesn't work because pressing the button changes the tare value. Not true if you pay attention to what you're doing. I have one complaint that the auto shut off is very quick and when it turns off you lose the tare settings you had so you have to start over. This is not always possible as you may have already added the weight-changing ingredients. I haven't found any workarounds so far other than occasionally touching the watch face to make sure it doesn't turn off, so I'd appreciate if anyone has any fixes.
