Review on 99FT 300LEDs Fairy String Lights, Waterproof Dimmable Decorative Lights with Remote Control, UL Listed for Bedroom, Patio, Wedding, Party, Christmas Tree - Warm White by Kelly Nelson

They arrived today for my quarterdeck and I was going to tie them up and I'm not sure what happened at the factory they came from but I had a knot in them about halfway through Way through the strand When I got to it, the wire was twisted fairly tightly on itself, but it was hard to tell how bad the damage was while it was still on the piece of cardboard it was wrapped around. I tried gently untying and straightening the knot, but now you can see a fairly noticeable kink where it was. I decided to try my luck and landed on the filament, but when I connected it to the part of the filament after that kink, it didn't light up until I went over and gave it a bit of a push. Finally returned but I'm pretty sure there is a short in the line. I'll keep an eye on them to make sure they aren't getting hot or something and probably at some point the tube will need to be re-soldered and resealed for it to work properly. Overall I think you get what you pay for, not even worth my time to get them back but it annoys me that I now have to spend time fixing their manufacturing flaw. Update: death in three months. This is rubbish, look for something better
