I love this spoon! I'm not the type to buy extra kids gear when I already have other things to use, but this one did the trick. The spoon is made of soft (but strong enough to be functional) silicone so it won't scratch baby's gums and allows them to scrape any food off the spoon. It comes with a travel lid to prevent food spills and a hygienic lid that fits over the spoon acts as a stand to prevent food spills. Genius! I make a lot of my own baby food so I love that I can preload it and toss it in my diaper bag so I can take it with me when I need it. I also use it at home because it makes feeding a baby a lot easier when they suddenly have squid legs and they're holding everything. In the whole time I've used it it hasn't leaked even a bit through the ring (which I had from another brand that leaked horribly). I wish I had had it with my first!
