Review on πŸ”Š High Quality Clear 100ft Speaker Wire Cable - InstallGear 14 Gauge AWG by Brian Diaz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This 14# wire is good, the ends of the wires are better for tinning, and there is adequate coverage.

The home audio and video industry perpetuates the myth that big cables = great sound. Stereo Review's Hirsch-Houck lab once tested 1000W RMS in Polk's flagship SDA speakers and showed that cheap 18-gauge tube wire (which is used for speaker wire) causes a slight loss, but not in the human range hearing. Comprehensive tests carried out by recognized experts using reference-class test bench equipment in a double-blind test. This sheds light on the status cost of speaker cables, which in no way compromises sound quality. Use this Install Gear cable for speakers less than 30 feet long, watch out for the volume. Keeping everything the same, connect 0-2# instead of 14g#, then repeat all conditions and measure all SPLs. Try longer runs now, but what do you really know until you do? Ask - does it matter if you have losses in your speaker cables that you can't hear? So if you're running a few hundred watts in less than 50 feet, don't worry about this CCA cable. You know it's very likely that the outlets, lights, amplifiers/receivers in your listening room, and 12-14# 2200 watt devices are up to 100 feet (maybe more) from the switch box to the room AV Check the national Cable capacity charts by length and then make sure you have spkr non-corrosive cables with good contacts so you can get more real yields. Speaker wire 5X to 10X the gauge that will power your amp to drive 350 watt speakers in 30 feet but great for MTI what = money transfer inefficiency.
