I like blue in daylight. Now I want the blue needles to glow more than the original orange ones. This may be because they are not fully blue. I decided to use blue LEDs behind them, thinking it would help them glow more, but it didn't. The blue LEDs allow the blue to seep through the background, which keeps the arrows from glowing too brightly and the arrows almost disappear into the background. Longer needles. Short needles look like they shine more. So I can fall back on white LEDs or lights. I can replace the longer needles with the original orange ones and see how the mix turns out. The photo I posted looks really good. The phone's camera seemed to illuminate it, so that's a bit deceptive.
