This thermometer works great especially when cooking meat to a safe temperature. It will beep when it reaches the set temperature and it can be chicken, beef, turkey, etc. I appreciate the two different ranges available for temperature testing. It comes with a cord plug to use in the oven or I can wait to take the temperature with the wand provided. Overall, this is an easy to use thermometer that is very easy to read.
