When I saw that this lens was available for my M50 I jumped at it. I really like the autofocus option and the images are always sharp. One thing to watch out for is your body's crop factor. The M50 is a crop sensor body, so the 56mm of this lens is actually 89.6. I'd say it's great for portraits or situations where you need extra range, but don't expect it to perform the way you want up close. Another important point is the bokeh. A really good lens can be recognized by the shape of the bokeh. You can see in my soundbar photos that the lights are round and very smooth. In addition, with an aperture of 1.4, this lens performs well in low light conditions. I can quickly give this lens 5 stars and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great lens to add to their arsenal.
