Bought after a long search. I used it on a 3 week trip to Central Asia, staying within the strict 8kg limit for European flights. I'm a 5'4" female and 130lbs. With 8kg full load I found it a bit heavy but the waist belt really helps. Fits 2 pants, 2 light sweaters, 4 short sleeve/2 long sleeve t-shirts, 5 socks/ 5 underwear, hiking boots, umbrella, small first aid kit, 1 liter toiletry bag packable by Gonex 40 liter backpack, guide book and a Canon DSLR with lens and camera case It is highly recommended to add 2 medium packing cubes for clothes We also recommend purchasing a cable lock instead of a regular luggage lock to make it easier to lock both compartments together.
