Anyway I paid full price for this. I've had some experience with PandaHall finds in the past and knew it was an inexpensive choice of acceptable quality to craft items for myself (that's all I do at the moment). I recently bought a jewel loom and book, and here are the instructions for embellishing bracelets and other items from the book with ribbon clips. I wasn't sure what size I would prefer to use, so I bought them (I have the 8-25mm silver set). This set offers a wide range of sizes; I mostly use medium and large and if I order in the future I will probably go for the large sizes. But that's the advantage of such a set - I can try different things and see which ones work best for me. They were easy to use (just clipped - with pliers - to some tape over the edge I wove onto my woven pieces). I didn't use nylon tipped pliers, just straight metal pliers and they didn't scratch the surface of the shafts. I then attached some pieces (lobster clasp and extender chain) to either end. My tape was quite thick (I used too much glue the first few times but I'm getting better) but they were firm enough that a few tugs could secure them no matter what. I've never worried about them breaking. The processing is quite good for the price. This is a lighter shade of silver (almost what you see on the official product image). I know they're freshly coated and the finish probably won't last forever, but with proper care, items made from them should last a long time. I probably wouldn't sell items made from these, but they're great for practice, learning, etc.
