Review on Teva Unisex-Child T Hurricane XLT 4 Sandal - Durable and Comfy Kids' Outdoor Footwear by Robert Xayamonty

Prickly and uncomfortable

Bought for a very active five year old son. We spend a lot of time outdoors and the weather is mostly warm and humid year-round. We usually stick to Keen sandals for him, but since I wear Tevas I figured he might like sandals too. As soon as I received it I felt the material and it was very hard and scratchy. I certainly didn't expect them to be soft, but having had over five pairs of different Tevas styles, I know what they COULD look like. They were also on the big side for size. I figured if nothing else he might just grow into her. He was very fond of fire engines and was excited to try them on, but that quickly faded. He could only wear them around the house for five minutes before they became unbearable. For reference, this is a kid who has calluses on his feet and he doesn't say anything about it. He always plays through pain so I knew it had to be bad. Since he liked the look very much, we tried it again the next day and the same thing. In the end we realized they wouldn't work :( So sad because I know Teva can do better!
