Nice tall scratching post. A little tricky to assemble (hex key and screws included) but only because you can't just assemble it bottom up and there are no instructions on what parts to put on and in what order. I would give strength 4/5 because the base could be wider to stabilize it. I like that the material is plush, not a carpet (so that cats understand that the carpet cannot be torn on the floor). It smells weird, like chemicals, but I'll dissolve it in a few days. I was afraid that the apartment would be small but it's really spacious. Our 10lb tabby fits in the hole easily and a larger cat can also fit through the hole. Our two 10kg cats could do better in an apartment with extra space (but they aren't very nice to each other). Assembly: 1) Attach the three posts to the bottom of the dwelling with standoffs. 2) attach the base to the three spacer posts 3) attach the fourth post to the hammock with the spacer bolt 4) attach the post (without spacer bolts) to the top of the flat5) attach the fourth post to the top of the flat6 ) Insert the threaded rod into the post without the spacer screw 7) Attach the post to the top of the hammock with an expansion bolt 8) Attach the platform to the top of the post with an expansion bolt
