Review on 65.6ft HRDJ Led Strip Lights - Music Sync Color Changing 5050 SMD RGB Led Light Strips for Bedroom - Remote App Control for Room Party by Jason Hutchinson

Works perfectly. Also works with Smart Socket.

I needed 42 feet for one room so I needed over 32 feet of other products. It comes with four 16ft bundles and the power supply comes with the appropriate four connectors. Some other products would warn against wiring bars in series, but I had no problem wiring all four bars in series to just one power connector (how else could I get to 42ft?). My ceiling has a sloping side due to the roof, so I couldn't just go around the wall and had to connect to the ceiling instead. This meant I had to order separate corner connectors. I actually ordered 3-way T-connectors, so at each corner I used the remaining strips to allow the light to go into the corners as well. So I found a use for extra lights. I also had to cut and add segments on each side to fit the required length of each side of the room and all of these connectors did not affect the light output in any way. To prepare the ends for the connectors, I had to scrape the adhesive foam off the ends leaving only a thin strip. The remote control/IR sensor is also very sensitive as it can receive remote control commands from anywhere in the world. Space, even then I don't point the remote at the sensor. I'm assuming the light bounces off the walls to get to the sensor. I also connected the power adapter to the tp-link smart socket so I can ask Alexa to turn the light on and off. Basically I did this to schedule the light to turn off at night in case someone forgets to turn it off. But I was pleasantly surprised that after receiving power from the smart socket, the lamps returned to their previous state, so I didn't have to use the remote control to manually turn them on or change modes. I haven't tried the management app. the lights. I also didn't use the adhesive part of the strips as I felt any glue would eventually break. Instead I bought a set of mounting brackets (make sure you bring a non-waterproof one).
