I did a lot of research and this comes highly recommended without a lift so I chose it. Two garages built. There are many grains. I was concerned that we would run out of paint so I undercoated it on the first garage and had to apply a second coat. The square meters indicated on the box is a generous layer. I also painted the wall about 12 inches. that's enough. Don't be afraid to apply a good thick coat, then all you have to do is apply one more coat. It has an excellent shine. You don't have to buy an additional top gloss. The second layer made the garage floor absolutely perfect as we had made the first layer too thin. (Note: I already chipped slightly on the first coat because I didn't realize we applied it too thinly and I would need a second coat. I was worried it wouldn't look good when painted over the paint chips , but since I've done more chipping on the second layer, it really doesn't work. Not perfect, but in case the same thing happens to you, feel free to paint over it!) I liked it better when I sprinkled more flakes in the Compared to the other garage where we did less The only box I bought at the hardware store to apply the second coat was a plastic bag which made the job 1000 times less messy than a double kit of cans. o Mix the cans (Components A and B) thoroughly and I think this helped our first coat not look the best. The TAAAAO bag is light and tidy, a dream. You have to craft all the sets this way and get rid of the jars! Make sure you have stained the floor, rinse thoroughly and let dry for a few days before applying paint and masking the edges. The prep work is the hardest part. If you plan to paint the top walls, do so before painting the floor. (Once you see the painted floor you might want to paint the walls too. This has happened to us. It's a lot easier to paint the walls first so no need to put tape, it's ok if it drips etc.) . Painting the floor and splattering the leftover paint is the useful (somewhat fun) part. You need to immediately sprinkle the floor with shavings. Work in 4 x 4 foot sections and sprinkle immediately. Best to throw in small handfuls in the air. Dries quickly and doesn't hold up well after about ten minutes. Read the instructions in advance as the paint's durability depends on the temperature. A maximum of two hours, so it is best to work in pairs and work quickly. Also read about temperature requirements. can't get colder than 55 degrees at night for two nights etc. Definitely allow at least 3 full days to get things back in the garage. I would wait longer if possible as it takes a full three days for the paint to fully dry. I wouldn't go for a week. I didn't add gravel. The flakes give him enough support. All of my paint sets (2 from Amazon and one from Home Depot) were the same color and matched perfectly. Complete transformation and worth the effort. much cleaner now. Highly recommended! :)
