Bought for our 5 year old. He loves to. This is your regular RC truck and its speed matches its motor capabilities. It comes with 2 batteries which is a plus and each battery lasts 20-30 minutes depending on usage. I didn't pay attention to how long it takes to charge the battery, but I don't think it's more than an hour or so. Batteries have a proprietary connector. Batteries connect to a USB cable adapter and can be charged via USB. Only complaint is we bought it about a month ago and the photos show a light bar or lights on the top of the truck which we didn't have (see pic). The tires pop out of the rims all the time, so I recommend supergluing the rubber to the wheels.
