I absolutely love this product, but it was a bit big for me at it's smallest waistband size, and I'm not the skinniest person in the world. I usually wear size 12 or 14 pants, or 16 to be extra comfy, if that idea helps at all, so I can't imagine this working well for anybody a bit smaller or considered petite. It worked for me because it was going over a few clothing layers for a Renn Faire costume, and it did stay on loosely and comfortably while still being secure. It was a great hands-free but not quite 70s fanny pack way to carry my phone and money/cards. I loved it, but wouldn't recommend for petite people.
