UPDATE: I have been repeatedly harassed by this seller via my personal email address to remove this review. Offer money to have my review removed and how it would affect their ability to pay their credit card or even lose their job. I didn't reply and blocked her mail. The seller is in poor condition and I will not retract my review. To be HONEST, the product details mention that it is not compatible with TV and universal remote control. I can only blame myself for not reading it to the end. Correct the rating to 1 star as it has been fully disclosed. While you can connect to this speaker via Bluetooth and other standard audio inputs, you'll always need to use the included remote control. Universal control technology is readily available and has been around for decades so it's not clear why this device can't, but you would need to have just one remote control to control the volume on this device. Connecting to the headphone jack on the TV prevented control with the TV remote in terms of volume control. Otherwise it sounded good, worked via optical and Bluetooth. I just can't justify having to control the volume with a separate remote. Returned due to blatant functional defects.
