We used ours to cover our hammocks. If you wrap the rope around the corners or anywhere on the ground, you can attach a tent peg to the rope to secure it to the ground. We also just cut a small notch to allow the hammock rope to go into the net. We then used string to tie where the notch should have been to keep the bugs out. Yes, we are geniuses.
