Costa Rica approved :)

in Costa Rica in the middle of the jungle he did his job. We stayed in a cabin with lots of holes all over the place and when I set it up and put it around the bed my wife felt safe and we got nothing. I've used it twice and we had no problems. I love that it comes with laces and ankles.

Great for hammocks!

Looks like I'm just another wanderer in a hammock. I set it up pretty quickly and realized I could probably use a shaker on it. It's heavier than I thought for the price. I had stuck some cypress leaves in and was able to pull them out without holes. Just one mosquito all night. I will now buy more of this after testing it. Sorry the test took so long. I will post my full rig picture to give you guys some ideas. Most of my gear comes from Amazon.

  • Easy to use

Used on our hammocks

We used ours to cover our hammocks. If you wrap the rope around the corners or anywhere on the ground, you can attach a tent peg to the rope to secure it to the ground. We also just cut a small notch to allow the hammock rope to go into the net. We then used string to tie where the notch should have been to keep the bugs out. Yes, we are geniuses. If you have a dog, he can also sleep under your hammock. I love being outside but I hate mosquitoes so that's great. We just did it perfectly…

Personal Care Chemical Warning

I have just received this product and there is a chemical warning on the front which is not visible in the packaging photo stating 'The product may expose you to chemicals including chromium known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." I went back and looked at the listing as I definitely didn't remember seeing it on the list and finally found it in the section Mentioned 'disclaimer' sandwiched between the relevant video footage and sponsored…

The perfect pool cover!

I was looking for something to cover my daughter's pool with to keep bugs and leaves out between cleanings. I change the water at least once a week, clean the pool while it's empty, but the pool is a decent size so emptying and refilling it every time she uses it is wasteful. Also, I live in upstate New York and it takes a few days for the pool water to warm up to a comfortable temperature. (She is 15 months old.) Between cleanings, the pool got uncomfortable because it was under a tree in the…

It was enough for my Appalachian Trail hike!

Hiking the Appalachian Trail, I did the first 1200 miles of cowboy trekking with a tarp, a hammock and a super quality sleeping bag. I added a headset in New Jersey but by the time I got to Connecticut the mosquitoes were going wild, I mean they could bite me right through my hammock. I then ordered this Coghlan netting and used it to make an envelope for my hammock and a paracord spinal cord. It worked absolutely very well for what I needed it for! And for the money I spent, it was worth its…

I am slowly being killed by mosquitoes

I was slowly being killed by mosquitoes in my garden. I take my pet outside at night to "run and play" outside, but at the cost of my legs and arms. I tried to cover every inch of my body but the mosquitoes got under my chair and bit my butt through the chair. what the hell! I started spraying myself every night and smelling DEET, which really sucked. (That's how much I love my pet) Eventually they stabbed me in the face and I lost my mind. I live in an apartment building, but I bought it, tied

Perfect to protect my chicken coop from mosquitoes.

For years I have successfully used a Coghlan double width mosquito net to cover my chicken coop and protect my chickens from mosquito bites. Many chicken/outdoor pet owners underestimate the importance of protecting their pets from mosquito bites. When you use a mosquito net, you not only help keep your pets from suffering discomfort and irritation from relentless mosquito bites, but you also help reduce the chances of your pet contracting a life-threatening mosquito-borne disease can . Some…
