Some were defective
I bought these batteries to replace the batteries in my paired cordless house phones. Of the 20 pieces, 6 didn't seem to take a charge. Of these, 2 were hot after sitting in the charged phone for 7 hours. The remaining batteries work perfectly and do not heat up.
