I was looking for a longer Apple Watch charging cable and this was one of the few I could find. The moment I opened it I knew something was wrong. First, the cable is thinner and thinner than Apple's standard cable. Second, I usually leave the watch charging overnight and there are no issues. This charging cable overheats my watch every time. The watch was always warm long after charging. I'm not an expert, but I think it's either due to the circuitry or lack thereof, or components in the head of the charging cable. It may not regulate the incoming power and keep charging even when the watch is 100% charged. It's not good for the clock.
