As other reviewers have pointed out. This is definitely NOT a plush, heavy robe. BUT it's well made and will definitely double as a 'robe' to provide privacy when he's not fully dressed and needs to get out of the shower to get his phone or coffee. As a 2nd layer, it also warms my pyjamas/pajamas when I'm dressed like this and the house is already cold/not yet warm in the morning.
