I am a woman with a normal head. I was able to put it on but it is very tight (too tight). If my hair was up or tied in a bun, it would be even harder for me. The neck part is too short, leaving a gap, so you almost need an extra scarf. The "face mask" part doesn't cover your nose, of course, just your mouth. You can of course pull it up, but then the neck will be even shorter, well, you have to hold it in that position. It doesn't stretch at all so don't count on it. If it had shrunk in the wash, all these problems would have gotten worse. It feels very warm and would be comfortable if it was wider and longer. A more flexible fabric would definitely be a plus. i have to return it
