ok, there is a god! I hate using a 2 wire camera combo. This is an expensive item and if you are not careful you can damage the video cable (if you are using cameras you will need to route the video cable and the power cable and the two cables are supplied as one siamesed cable. Very expensive. Instead of routing with these baluns you can now run a regular Cat 5e with these terminators on each end: simple, cheap, easy to run, one of the devices goes to the camera, the other to the DVR and a 24 volt power panel, it couldn't be simpler.
