As a hair dyer, I'm constantly looking for ways to style my hair without further damaging it; That's why I try to stay away from hot styling methods as much as possible. I prefer these non-heat methods because the curls seem to last longer and stay bouncy. Let me start by saying that the "before" photos of my hair were taken after I had curlers in my hair for just 2 hours. I have pretty thick hair and was looking for a casual wavy look. The fact that my hair has curled in such a short time is AMAZING! I also love the cheerful different colors. I particularly liked this product because, unlike many curlers, it didn't give me a headache. I generally find it difficult to sleep in curlers because they can weigh my head down and feel weird on the pillow. However, these curlers are not super heavy. They didn't weigh my head down and I was able to lie down and lounge around my house as usual. This is my first time using these curlers. I bet with more practice I can get even more bounce in a short amount of time. I've experimented with curlers of all sizes to show how different curlers caught my hair. The only thing I didn't like about this product is that the product description advertises 42 curlers, 6 of each. If you look at the photo below, you can see 41 curlers (7 green, 6 yellow, 6 red, 5 blue, 5 orange, 5 gray and 7 purple). While this is very important as I don't like to use all curlers the same size, I think it's important for honest product descriptions. If random size curlers are provided, this must be clearly stated. Meager. BENEFITS: More comfortable than other curlers on the market, great alternative to heated rollers, available in fun colors, gives curls good volume. Received a product marked I have only used this product once but so far I like it and will continue to use it. I'm excited to see how these curlers stand the test of time (if I bend them, will they eventually fail?). I am happy to make changes to this post in the future.
