The fabric is beautiful. While it's relatively easy to put together a comfortable seating arrangement, I'm glad I didn't have a six or eight piece set for everyday dining room use. I bought it as an accent chair in my bedroom. I sit on it and put on socks and shoes as part of my daily routine. It doesn't seem to hold up very well, so I'm trying not to "flop" on it. As another reviewer mentioned, the thumps on the back of the chair were loud (and I can't hear very well!).
