This night light is pretty weak but in the right place under the right circumstances it's fine. This probably shouldn't be considered if you're looking to light up a small to medium sized guest bathroom. Speak enough light so you can wash your hands and go to the bathroom. This works, for example, if you have a socket right next to the toilet. We have a place like this and it has worked well in our upstairs bathroom that my daughter uses. It produces enough light to be useful and a color that doesn't bother. Other great things: The workmanship looks very nice and this is probably the only night light with a flickering candle effect.
