It helped our son adjust to the shoes once he started walking.
These shoes were not bought for water but to help our son get used to shoes as he only started walking a few months ago. They helped. They protect his board from the outside and are light enough for him to run with confidence. We had to go a size up from his usual shoe size so bear that in mind when purchasing.
