Garbage! Absolutely useless! Throw it away!

I absolutely hate this thing. When it connects and detects heart rate, it works great. Unfortunately, this only works 25% of the time. First, I had their base a few years ago - before the app-enabled versions. He had a bracelet and a watch (FT-7?), which by the way is now worth less than just a bracelet. It was great, but after about 5 or 6 years it stopped working (even with a battery change). Here are my concerns: 1. It doesn't increase heart rate except about 25% of the time. When this happens I have to spend 25 minutes troubleshooting again.2. It contains the total number of calories burned per day. For each activity (e.g. sitting at a desk, walking, doing Pilates, etc.) you must specify a specific activity and then when you are done, complete the activity over the phone. Then you need to start a new activity. It wouldn't be so bad if you could have a subtotal for the day. Instead, you have to calculate the calories burned manually. In addition, you must remember to change activities.3. There is no other option than Bluetooth via the app. Why can't they turn on the master clock they had before? The old version came with a simple watch and bracelet. In other words, it doesn't have a clock and now only works via Bluetooth connected to the app. [Yes, I know you can buy a watch, but why would I when I've already spent $100 and they don't do the most basic thing - don't take your heart rate?] 4. Since it only works with Bluetooth, it should Phone always to hand. See below for more details.* 75% of the time it doesn't detect a heartbeat or I have to let it run for 25 minutes before it finally works. heartbeat. I went through various troubleshooting steps: a. Wet the rubber part of the chest strap again.b. Disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is not connected to other devices. c. Replace batteries. Eventually I keep fiddling with it and do steps a and b above and sometimes it connects. Eventually I stopped using it but decided to try again. The same thing. I just spent the last 25 minutes trying to get it working. Unfortunately I don't have time to train this morning. Absolutely useless! I'd like an original heart rate monitor that doesn't have all the bells and whistles - just a) getting sensors on the belt wet. b) dressing. c) Press the button to turn it on. And BOOM: Your heart rate and calories burned are displayed on the watch. There are no versions other than these app-enabled versions and they have a daily total. Useless! I'm almost ready to throw it in the trash because that's what "trash" is. Updating and lowering the overall score: I'm reducing this from 3 stars to 1 star. I figured the battery might be dead and need replacing, so I replaced it. Worked once and that's it. It's too late to return. Absolute rubbish. I threw it out today.

Pros
  • Gopro Compatible: Connect the H10 heart rate sensor directly to a GoPro Hero 5 compatible camera and overlay heart rate data into recorded videos.
Cons
  • High price.
