I was looking for the right size spoon for making Pizzels (Italian waffle cookies). Too much iron batter makes a mess, but too little makes weird-looking cookies. This shovel is just the right size. I bought it to replace another shovel that broke the first time I used it and I'm very happy with it. I prefer the design of this shovel to others and I already have a #50 Vollrath shovel so I know they will last. Will definitely be buying more in other sizes to add to my collection.
