I cut off a small piece when measuring the belt size and then cut off some material to see what it looks like inside. I don't know what it's made of, but it's not leather. I took a few daylight shots and included them in this review. Maybe you can tell from the photos what it's made of. it looks like shavings of material that have been grabbed and glued together.
