Great quality for a low price! I bought this as I am looking to replace an RM Williams leather bridle which I recently lost when they lost my dress bag at the hospital (including shoes, pants, shirt.ugg) but I understand that real bridles cost around £70 Dollars start and easily top $100 (the cheapest RM Williams is around $85). This belt is as close as you can get to a solid top grain leather belt that I think will last for years (I've had an RMW belt for 20 years and it's hardly ever broken).

I cut off a small piece when measuring the belt size and then cut off some material to see what it looks like inside. I don't know what it's made of, but it's not leather. I took a few daylight shots and included them in this review. Maybe you can tell from the photos what it's made of. it looks like shavings of material that have been grabbed and glued together.

UPDATED: I don't recommend. Lasted less than a year. A screw holds it together. And it broke 3 times. I've tried screwing it back on but it just won't hold. Maybe he's naked. But I didn't realize how flimsy it was assembled. It's better to invest in something that will last. ——————— Bought it for my husband. He likes it a lot and comes in nice, if perhaps overdone, packaging. Includes a hole punch tool which is nice. Let's see how well the belt wears out over time and check.
