Got it for the bathroom sink for my small kids. Very straightforward and quick to assemble (in fact, they did a lot of the assembly on their own). Perfect stool for my newly 2 year old to go up and wash her hands. At first she needed help getting down, a few weeks later she is confident doing it on her own. Would not use for party training as this step is very narrow!But this item goes right agains the wall so they child can’t fall or put his/her foot in the gap between the stoop and the wall or cabinet space which was my main concern.I would recommend! Got this stool for our 19 m/o to see out the window. It would also be great to help older kids reach the sink or counter top. Super easy to assemble, our 19 m/o even helped. The black strips for grip are "stickers” that you put on yourself. No issues there.

very happy with this purchase, it was a little difficult at first to put together n keep everything lined up before getting the screws in n one hole was not aligned properly so it was a bit difficult to get that screw in but all in all well worth the purchase. it's very sturdy ad I love the grippies that come with it.

We got this for our son to be able to wash his own hands and have no regrets with our purchase. It has a very cute light wood look that blends in with our other IKEA kids furniture. It came with grippy pads which we didn’t use, as it seems really sturdy and is cute as-is. It is so easy to assemble that my 2 year old used the Allen wrench to put it together while I held the pieces! Would buy again :)
