The step stool was super easy to assemble! It is sturdy enough to support an adult but lightweight enough for my 2.5 year old son to pick it up and move it to wherever he needs it (to reach the sink for handwashing, climb into our bed or in the bathtub, get his sippy cup from the kitchen counter, etc.Originally I had planned to maybe decorate it. Paint some flowers on it or dinosaurs (our son's current obsession) but it looks so pretty with just the wood color that it came in, so we are leaving it just the way it is for now. Or maybe we will get another one to decorate ;-) We have it in the bathroom, where it gets wet A LOT and it has held up really well, the wood hasn't swelled or bubbled or anything. Definitely great value for the price!
