Review on ☕️ Resilient French Borosilicate Coffee Machine by Jerry Olson

Technically it can be heated on the stovetop as I understand it.

The main reason I bought this product was to have a nice glass teapot that could be filled and placed on my desk while I worked, but I needed one that would do the heating of Water could be ready without coming out of the pan Boil water or buy a kettle. Well I love this kettle. But now I have a kettle. That's it. That doesn't mean this kettle isn't stovetop safe — I've boiled about a dozen pots of water in this thing on my stovetop and it hasn't broken into a million pieces. However, the fear that it might break was already present at the time of purchase, especially as many other reviewers have strongly advised against putting it directly on the stove or simply said they wouldn't. After boiling water in it the first few times I noticed it made this weird ticking sound when heated directly from the heat that was definitely coming from the jar. Borosilicate glass may be perfectly normal to my knowledge, but it definitely put me off using it that way. Personally, I'd appreciate further instructions on the packaging or from the seller as to what temperature the burner should be set at to avoid damage, warnings on when to stop, or less obvious signs of damage. or just more information about heating on the stove in general. Especially since so many other reviews strongly advise against it. To its credit, the handle stays cool enough that you don't need a glove to take it off the burner, and the filter makes brewing easier. The kettle is relatively easy to clean, although I have had some problems with the spout and the filter itself is quite annoying. Otherwise, mine arrived fairly quickly and is still intact, so I really can't say anything bad about it. I really like this cute little teapot, even though I'm too scared to put it on the stove!
